Looking over the photos from this wedding again makes me so hungry! If you want good food and a stylish chic wedding, the Jamie Kennedy Museum is for you. The night was intimate and cozy (my favourite) and the details spectacular! Bill and Julia were a pleasure to photograph. Julia feels like a long lost friend. She is so bubbly and friendly. Both of them together were a delight. I love the fact that Julia made it "her" wedding. The dress she designed with a friend, combining eastern and western styles, all the bridesmaids wore a different bold and bright colour; they made matching jewerly and wore matching scarves. And I have to mention the the flowers. They were out of this world!!! Paul Cormier of H20 Flowers has to be the most creative and passionate florist I've met. There you go folks...
So, I have a REALLY good reason for not blogging lately. As some of you know I am GETTING MARRIED. It is my busiest season of the year with work, so I figured I would add to the pressure and have my wedding this September! Crazy, I know. (I think deep down I am an adrenaline junky). So things are coming together quite nicely! It's certainly given me new perspective for my brides... I've been absolutely blown away by the response of my clients. There has hardly been a single engaged couple that walks through the studio doors and doesn't notice my ring within the first 2 minutes! It's totally changed my consulation sessions - The last few couples have drilled me about my wedding and how we got engaged, details, etc, etc. Fun, fun. I was almost in tears when previous clients came to pick up their canvas and brought me the most beautiful bouquet of sunflowers (thank-you Stella & Laura).
Sooo, I hope to be sharing my ideas and details over the next month! (if I can) Stay tuned!
